Five kinds of card

The feed mixes them, so you are never just reading. On myths, questions and disputes you commit to an answer before you see the reveal.

Fact: A quick fact in a sentence or two, with its evidence tier and sources underneath.
Myth: A common belief. You call it True or Myth before the verdict shows.
Question: A multiple-choice trivia question. Pick an answer, then read the explanation.
Quote: A famous line and the name it is credited to. Guess whether they really said it, then find out who did.
You decide: A question experts still dispute. Read the named positions, pick a side, and see how everyone else split once enough people have answered.

Every card shows its sources

No card just tells you to trust it. Each one carries an evidence tier, so you know how solid a claim is before you believe it, and names the sources behind it.

Confirmed
Backed by two independent reputable sources, or one primary source.
Reported
A single or softer source, stated with an honest hedge.
Disputed
Named experts disagree, and both sides are shown.
Legend
Folklore, told as a story, not a fact.

Go deeper: the dossier

Any card opens into its dossier, the full research writeup for that topic. It lists every claim with its tier and linked sources, the questions that are still open, and notes on what to read with care. Source links open in your browser, so you can check them yourself.

How we check things

Every topic starts as a research file that lists each claim next to the sources behind it. Our rule is that a source is only cited after it has been opened and checked against the claim beside it. Claims are then graded. Confirmed takes two independent reputable sources or one primary source, such as a peer-reviewed paper, an agency page or an official record. Wikipedia on its own is never enough for Confirmed.

Cards are written from those files, and no card goes into the feed without a tier and at least one source. When experts disagree we say so and show the positions instead of picking a winner. A quote with no primary source is told as a legend, not as a fact.
